Game Launcher

Game Launcher 1/2/2000 v.1.00, Windows 95/98

Purpose of Game Launcher is to stop access to the desktop but allow games to be played. Primarily aimed at stopping younger children messing up your computer but letting them play games.

When first using Game Launcher no password is set up so that you can lock/unlock the menu without having to give a password.
To create a new password choose "New Password" from the menu. When asked to "Enter Existing Password and Press Return" do not enter anything but just press Return. Now you will be able to enter your new password and from then on you will need to use your password to unlock the menu or change the password.

The password and background must be saved by using either two of the save options on the menu.

You should use the "Restore Window" option on the menu rather then double clicking on the windows title bar when present to restore it as this does not lock the window in place.

When locking/unlocking the menu with window size reduced you will notice the task bar disappear or reappear, this is quite normal.
